She is currently ranked 9th in the nation in this event. 4x800m Relay of Balandran, Beaird, Cremins, and Ibarra set a new school record by 5 second with a 9:58 at Texas Relays! 4x200m Relay of Kirby, Beaird, Mitchell and Collins set a new school record shaving 3 seconds off with a time of 1:40.63 at Texas Relays! Katelyn Anderson places 2nd in the Javelin and PR's by 18 feet at Texas Relays!
On the boys's side David Perry continued his amazing senior season by breaking the school record again in the shot put. His throw of 57-3.75 is the #13 ranked throw in Texas and he hit it on his last throw of the finals. Senior Ben Percefull also had a great meet in the pole vault clearing a season best 14-10.

Last Friday night the Tompkins Softball Program swept the Seven Lakes Spartans for the first time in program history! Sydney Hodge didn't allow a single run as Tompkins Falcons Varsity defeated Seven Lakes 3-0 on Friday. Hodge earned the win for Tompkins and allowed just six hits and struck out two. Madeline Meuth, Macy Moore, Zoe Pruden, Katelynn Kinslow, and Kat Ibarra each managed one hit to lead Tompkins Falcons Varsity. Freshman Avery Witten, Sophomore Kendall McGary and Senior Macy Moore each had an RBI scoring the three runs.
This Friday night the Falcons take on Mayde Creek here at Tompkins. JV plays at 4:30 and varsity at 6:15 come out and show your support!

Congratulations to Coach Shipman and the Girls Soccer team for being Area champs and quarterfinal champs! The Falcons prevailed in a gritty, heart-wrenching 3-2 overtime win Friday night vs Cy Fair then came back Tuesday night and took Seven Lakes down in extra time

Volleyball will start open gyms on Tuesday’s in April through May 2nd. After school until 4:15.
Big Softball Win this Week
The softball program swept the Cougars Tuesday night at Cinco. Ever Williams pitched a perfect game of 3 innings to defeat the Cougars’ JV 15-0. The varsity defeated the Cougars 5-1 and Sydney Hodge earned the win for Tompkins. She threw seven innings, allowing one run, two hits, and striking out eight. Katelynn Kinslow had a great night at the plate with four hits in four at bats and 3 RBI’s. Your Falcon softball team will take on the Seven Lakes Spartans on Friday at Seven Lakes. Come out at 4:30 and 6:15 to cheer us on!
Track & Field comes up big at
Victor Lopez Classic
This year was the first time the track teams have been invited to Rice University for the Victor Lopez Classic and the teams proved they belong! Senior David Perry started the meet off with a new school record of 56 feet in the shot put he came back the following day and set a new school record of 163’ 3” in the discus. Those marks rank him #10 in Texas 6A in shot put and #19 in Texas 6A in the discus! Junior high jump phenom, Mason Corbin, broke the HJ school record again with a jump of 6 feet 9 inches. That jump makes Mason #2 in Texas 6A! Mason was over 6’11” but just clipped it with his heel. Senior Ben Percefull jumped a regional #11 13’9” in the pole vault and will jump at Texas Relays again this Friday.
Percefull, Peyton Powell, Parker Powell and Alex Tchouangwa ran a season best 4x200m Relay on 1:29.07 to rank them #21 in the region. On the girls side, records fell all weekend! Kailei Collins wins the 100m with 11.8, wins the 200m with 24.25, and 2nd in LJ with 19’1”. Collins is currenlt ranked 6th in TX in the 100m, 15th in TX in the 200m and 10th in TX in the long jump. Keirsten Potter won the 2000m Steeplechase with 7:54.58 (#9 in TX) and earned a chance to run it again at Texas Relays! Alyssa Balandran (#5 in TX) placed 3rd in the 1500m with a 4:40.22 in a stacked race. The 4x400m Relay of R. Beaird, E. Beaird, Kirby, and Mitchell ran a gutsy race to finish 5th with a 3:53. The 4x100m Relay of White, Foster, Richardson, and Collins finishes 4th with a new school record of 47.40 The varsity teams compete at Texas Relays starting today.
